Helping Helpers Thrive

At MSI, we design and host conferences, workshops, and trainings that have a measurable impact on the performance and well-being of employees, service providers, and survivors alike. Our approach is centered on creating environments where trauma-informed care and responses are at the core of every interaction.

We focus on helping helpers—those who work with victims of trauma—by providing education and support related to emotional, physical, psychological, and social victimization. These issues often go unaddressed, leading to maladaptive coping strategies that can have devastating financial, developmental, and relational consequences for individuals, families, and communities. Our key areas of focus:

Providing Evidence-Based Education

MSI curates training and resources led by research and subject matter experts. We provide trauma-informed education that equips individuals to support victims effectively and with compassion.

Transforming Victims
into Survivors

We connect victims with resources and interventions that help them transition from victimhood to survivor status, encouraging healing and positive change.

Supporting Helping Professions

Our programs address burnout and attrition in the helping professions. We offer interventions that enhance longevity, quality of service provision, and emotional well-being among professionals working with victims.

Reducing the Ripple Effects of Trauma

By addressing unacknowledged trauma, MSI helps to mitigate the crippling costs—financial, emotional, and developmental—that trauma inflicts on individuals and families.
